What help is available to vulnerable people during a power cut?

On Tuesday 3rd November, presenter Louise Minchin joined the Morning Live studio to answer your questions on energy.
Louise mentioned the schemes available to help vulnerable people in case of power cuts, or any sort of interruptions to your electricity, gas or water supply. These schemes are generally focussed on those who have vulnerabilities, such as health conditions, reduced mobility, or being medically dependent on electricity, gas or water - but various support is available for anyone who may need it.
In England, Scotland and Wales this is the The Priority Services Register and in Northern Ireland there is a similar scheme called the Care Register.
