Why is Fury's next fight not on TV?

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury returns to action on Friday night in preparation for an expected meeting against Anthony Joshua later this year.

Fury, 37, faces Poland's Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, with the 46-year-old expected to be Fury's final opponent before a long-awaited 'Battle of Britain' bout against Joshua.

The bout is however taking place behind closed doors and will not be shown live on any television channel unless there is a last minute change.

Netflix are currently filming a third season of their documentary At Home with the Furys and footage from the fight against Wach is likely to be used upon the release of the third season.

Netflix also have the rights to broadcast Fury-Joshua, should it go ahead as planned.

Fury's bout with Wach takes place the night before Joshua is scheduled to take on Albania's Kristian Prenga , with the latter taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and broadcast live on Dazn PPV.

With the gap between the two bouts, it could mean that Fury attends Joshua's fight.
