Pottinger unveils new cultivator features for small and large farms

Pottinger is bringing new features as well as numerous customisation options to its Synkro universal cultivators.
The Synkro cultivator is linkage-mounted and comes in both 2-gang (rigid, with a working width of 2.5m or 3m) and 3-gang (rigid or folding, 3-5m) models.
Synkro cultivators are designed for stubble cultivation, primary tillage in autumn, seedbed preparation for mulch drilling and terminating cover crops.
The rigid variants are now also available with depth wheels as an option.
These improve working depth consistency, particularly on rough ground and undulating fields, which prepares the soil ahead of the seed drill.
This means the rear roller can be removed from both the rigid and folding versions when required.

Working without rear rollers results in a looser, non-consolidated soil structure, which is more optimal for primary tillage in autumn and for farms that operate without the use of a plough.
The Synkro V models with hydraulic folding have four parking stands available as an option, allowing the machine to be safely stowed away in the folded position without taking up a significant amount of space.
Additionally, the symmetrical line configuration on these models reduces side pull and helps produce improved levelling results.
Convenience and reliability
Pottinger claims its NOVA mechanical stone protection system with horizontal springs and a triggering pressure of 550kg is now maintenance free.
The levelling tools on the Synkro V can be adjusted from a central point and are now equipped with overload protection on all models.
Adaptable settings, a selection of tillage tools and a choice of equipment options allow operators to change around the configuration of the cultivator for differing operating conditions.
A precise set-up enables qualitive results and lays the foundation for subsequent work steps in arable farming, so these features are essential for those hoping to ensure uniform results on their work sites.
Pottinger says the new Synkro cultivators “tick all the boxes for convenience, reliability and versatile applications”.
“With their impressive choice of configurations, they are ideal for small family-run farms as well as large farming operations and machinery rigs”.
The updated Pottinger Synkro cultivators will be released in November 2026.
