SOFTSWISS, iGB and ICE partner to advance technology dialogue in iGaming

iGB and ICE have partnered with SOFTSWISS on the launch of its Tech Race Summit 2026, a dedicated event which will champion engineering and technology discussions in iGaming and bring together experts from tec giants to discuss their work on the systems that power modern digital businesses.

Tech Race Summit, to take place on 10 September 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, will bring together leaders from cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, cybersecurity, observability and AI adoption giants, including. AWS, Google, Oracle, Cloudflare, Fastly, Gcore, ScyllaDB.

Through the partnership, WorldGaming will support Tech Race Summit as its media partner, providing a platform for the sector to engage futher in the discussions initiated as part of the event. The discussions will then continue at ICE 2027.

The event programme will focuses on technical decision-making, real-world engineering experience and the future of digital infrastructure. Despite a wealth of industry events each year, there has been a lack of opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the technology issues being faced by all high-load industries, from an engineering perspective.

ICE 2027 to feature dedicated big tech and engineering discussions

Margaret Dunn, portfolio director, WorldGaming (ex-Clarion), said: “Technology is becoming one of the defining forces in iGaming, yet dedicated engineering discussions have remained relatively rare. As we will be focusing on this topic at ICE 2027, we are pleased to support Tech Race Summit 2026.

“Encouraging knowledge sharing across the industry is something we see as an important responsibility, and we believe these conversations will benefit the entire sector,” Dunn added.

Sergey Kastukevich, SOFTSWISS CTO emphasised that the event would “create an opportunity to exchange practical experience and better understand where cloud infrastructure, AI and high-load systems are heading next”.

AI has unsurprisingly become a primary topic of discussion across the iGaming sector and adoption of various large language models is rife. One example is iGaming platform provider Cubeia using AI to write all its back and frontend code , in an effort to improve its speed to market with client updates.

Other examples of AI adoption across the sector include AI-powered live casino and slots. As AI becomes more prevelent, the broader challenges around increased adoption and the tech giants powering the models, will also come to the fore.
